September 10, 2022: Kanab National Day of Service & Remembrance

Kanab’s National Day of Service is scheduled for Saturday, September 10, 2022, and will feature a range of projects chosen to match the skills and activity levels of volunteers of all ages.

The organizing committee's goal is to establish a day of service that will enrich the annual remembrance of 9/11 by coming together as a community to do good deeds that benefit others.

Volunteers can pre-select their projects by going to JustServe.org and searching for "Kanab," or just show up on the day of the event.

Participants will meet at the Kane County Visitor Center at 8 a.m., where they'll be organized into project groups. Everyone who volunteers will be provided water throughout the morning, and lunch will be provided by Garkane Energy at the Visitor Center at 11:30 a.m.
