Colette Cox has been a fixture on the Kanab Chamber board of directors for more than nine years. In March she accepted a new position as Director of Member Services with the St. George Area Chamber of Commerce — Colette lives in St. George — and stepped down from the Kanab Area Chamber.
Colette’s tireless efforts on behalf of local businesses helped support and grow the area economy, from her promotion of the chamber’s membership and services to the business trainings and seminars she organized in Kanab. Her time as the Outreach Manager at Dixie State University’s Business Resource Center was a boon to the Kanab Chamber’s work, as well, and her curating of the "Kanab Area Help Wanted" Facebook Group kept its newsfeed lively and useful.
We will miss Colette’s dedication, hard work, and super-powered ability to know just about everyone in southern Utah but know we’re saying “so long” instead of goodbye. We wish you the very best in your new position, Colette!
