Ribbon Cutting at Expedition Kanab!

Thursday, April 27th was a beautiful day for the grand opening of Expedition Kanab and their ribbon cutting hosted by the Kanab Area Chamber of Commerce.

An enthusiastic group of friends and family join Rhees and Brookie Jackson for their ribbon cutting at Expedition Kanab on April 27th at 365 S 100 E in Kanab.

Located at 365 S 100 E in Kanab, Expedition Kanab is a one-stop shop for unforgettable ATV tours and rentals that bring locals and visitors out to experience the wild and magnificent beauty of the Utah desert.

This business is a dream come true for founder and general manager Rhees Jackson and his wife Brookie. Working together, they took a building in need of some dedicated TLC and transformed it into a vibrant new establishment. Tucked between Luo’s Café and Quality Printing, the location is welcoming to their tour guests and includes a bright and airy retail space where they sell their branded merchandise, other Kanab souvenirs, and snacks.

Chamber vice president, Ron Thomas, welcomed the crowd saying, “It’s important to celebrate new businesses, and this new business - Expedition Kanab, led by Rhees and Brookie - does an amazing job of sharing the natural beauty of Kanab and the surrounding area.” Once the ribbon was cut, the cheerful crowd in attendance enjoyed the Tacos Sinaloa food truck and free cookies from Strawz.

Rhees is a 7th generation Kanab local who takes pride in his heritage and has years of experience spending time out on the dirt roads with his dad and grandpa. He left his comfortable sales job in Las Vegas to move home and start Expedition Kanab. He felt the need to raise his family in the small-town atmosphere. Rhees and Brookie said “We look forward to serving the people of Kanab and visitors for many years to come!”
