Thank you to everyone that came out to the March Chamber of Commerce meeting yesterday!
It sure was great to be back at the Best Friends Roadhouse & Mercantile. A HUGE thank you to Best Friends CEO Julie Castle and staff for hosting the event.
Julie Barger, Director of Visitor Experience at Best Friends, welcomed the attendees and introduced Best Friends CEO Julie Castle.
Julie spoke about her personal history in Utah and the story of how she found Best Friends back when she was "Employee #17." At the end of their presentation, she talked about the organization's vision for the future, as well as their commitment to Kanab and the unique culture that the area represents. She reaffirmed Best Friend's intention to work for the support and preservation of the community.
Arlyn Bradshaw, Senior Advisor for Community Relations at Best Friends, spoke about the organization's programs, giving an overview of their animal lifesaving mission and sharing data about progress that's been
made over the last 35 years.
The Chamber is grateful for Julie, Julie, Arlyn, Bart Battista, and Michelle Sathe for sharing Best Friends history, as well as their future programs, plans, and initiatives with the attendees.
