The Kane County Office of Tourism, the Utah Rural County Grant Program, the Kanab Area Chamber of Commerce and Buddy Mail Advertising have joined together to help promote Kane County businesses and chamber members through a new business grant opportunity.
Kane County businesses who are also members of the Kanab Chamber of Commerce will have access to grants to pay half of their advertising inside the Washington County edition of Buddy Mail.

Buddy Mail Advertising has been mailing to homeowners all across Southern, Central Utah and Kanab for many years. Jill Hunt, who launched Buddy Mail in January 2014, has followed her passion for helping small businesses across our region.
“Small businesses are the heartbeat of every community,” Hunt said. “From restaurants to retail and everything in between - they all make up the local flavor of every community. We’re excited to bring these Kanab businesses to the homes of Washington County residents who are close in proximity for day trips, weekend get-aways and to bring family and friends to explore this corner of Utah!”
The Washington County edition of Buddy Mail reaches over 57,000 homeowners and families! This grant will help businesses promote themselves to attract visitors to their lodging facilities, restaurants, museums, outdoor adventure services, retail shops and fueling stations.
A special section has been created inside Buddy Mail called “Experience Kanab” and will host limited ad space for businesses. Business grants are now available for immediate use starting in the upcoming April issue of Buddy Mail.
