July Chamber Luncheon at Kanab Center

Torrey Cluett and the Kanab Center staff had the ballroom sparkling for the chamber's July luncheon. This month's speaker was Janette Peatross, Executive Director of the Kane County Office of Tourism, with an overview and update of tourism in the county.

Pizza Hut provided the lunch and breadsticks, including vegan options, and Pat Guerrero put together some salads and cookies from Glazier's, along with ice cold drinks. More than 50 attendees tucked in - it was delicious!

Julie Barger of Best Friends Animal Society convinces Torrey Cluett that Ranch dressing is the way to go.

Kanab Area Chamber president Pat Guerrero welcomes attendees to the July luncheon at Kanab Center.

After Pat Guerrero welcomed the group, Janette Peatross took the stage with her tourism presentation, consisting of data comparisons from the last several years, and projections for this year and next. She also introduced her team, most of whom were in attendance - we're fortunate to have this dedicated group of professionals working on behalf of tourism in the county!

Kanab Center Director Torrey Cluett dazzled the crowd with a demonstration of lights and lasers in the ballroom before presenting a slideshow of the county's 2023 events to date. Whether it's a local club meeting or a national comic on tour, the Kanab Center continues to set the standard for destination venues in Southern Utah.

Thank you to everyone who attended - the Kanab Chamber is on the move!
