Thursday, December 12th was a bright and sunny day for the chamber’s monthly luncheon held at chamber member Hampton Inn Kanab’s lobby meeting space.

Chamber secretary Don Jennings welcomed attendees to a delicious pizza lunch provided by chamber member Pizza Hut. Soft drinks and salad were provided by chamber member Glazier’s Marketplace. Don introduced Hampton Inn General Manager Lynn Jones by way of thanks, and then Dr. Chris Healy, Assistant Professor of Management and Advisor for the Humane Resources club at Utah Tech University. Dr. Healy led the group through an interactive look at critical human resource challenges for small businesses and the resources needed to meet them.
The event ended with highlights from some of the attending businesses, and information on the upcoming annual Raising Kane Business Summit to be held at the Kanab Center on January 10, 2025, and the January chamber breakfast at Parry Lodge at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 21.
