On a day that included everything from rain, snow, hail, wind, and deep blue skies, a couple of dozen cheerful supporters gathered for the ribbon cutting and grand opening of chamber member Eagle Gate Title Insurance Company at 468 E 300 S, Suite 1, in Kanab. A delicious lunch catered by Havana Cabana and a long shelf filled with branded swag greeted the attendees. Bright balloons and sombrero centerpieces completed the party decor.
Ron Thomas, chamber vice-president, welcomed the crowd, which included Kanab City Manager Kyler Ludwig and Kanab City Council member Kerry Glover. Ludwig addressed the crowd, thanking business owner Aspen Gatchell for her investment in the community, and noting that new small businesses represent the heart of Kanab's economic development. Glover welcomed the new business and thanked them for contributing to Kanab's economic community.
Ryan Day and Macrae Hepler from Eagle Title's St. George office and new employee Katherine Ohlwiler were on hand to support the new location.
Kanab Chamber president Pat Guerrero said, "We're always happy to welcome a new business to Kanab and excited that Eagle Gate Title is open, running, and ready to grow."
Aspen Gatchell said, "We're super excited to be involved in the community and thankful for the everyone's support. We have everything you need for title and escrow!"
