Chamber member Thunderbird Resort is hosting the Carmel Mountain Car Show on September 23rd and 24th, and you won't want to miss it!
The event starts with a free Kanab Cruise Night at Kanab Center on Friday afternoon. Vehicle registration is free and starts at 3:30PM, with the evening kicking off at 4:00 and ending with a cruise through town. Stop by to check out the cars, trucks, bikes, and vintage RVs on display, visit vendors, and groove to JC Hackett's oldies.
Saturday features a full-on car show starting at 9:00AM the Thunderbird Golf Course in Mt. Carmel Junction, just up the road from Kanab. JC Hackett will be emceeing this event, as well, featuring his mix of classic oldies tunes as well as vehicle judging and prizes, a pie-eating contest, the famous Thunderbird Ho-Made Pie Girl Look-a-like contest, frozen tee shirt contests, raffles, food, and a wide variety of local vendors featuring food trucks, local crafts and handmade jewelry, herbal remedies, local honey, fresh baked goods, farmstead products, and more.
